Terms of Service

Sayboard is an AI-powered voice keyboard for iOS that runs entirely on your device. These terms cover what you're agreeing to when you use it.

How it works

You buy Sayboard once on the App Store, install it, enable the keyboard, and you're done. No accounts, no subscriptions, no sign-in. That's our entire business model — our incentive is to make the app good enough that people recommend it.

What you get

A license to use Sayboard on your Apple devices as intended. Sayboard has no server infrastructure — it can't send your voice or text anywhere because that capability simply doesn't exist in the app.

Open source

Sayboard's source code is available under the GNU General Public License v3. That license governs what you can do with the code — including the right to view, modify, and redistribute it under the same terms.

Fair use

Please don't redistribute the app outside the terms of the GPL license, and don't use it for anything illegal. That's about it.

No warranties

Speech recognition is impressive but not perfect. Accuracy depends on things like background noise, accent, and microphone quality. We provide Sayboard "as is" — it works well, but we can't guarantee flawless transcription in every situation. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the app.

App Store

Your purchase is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. If you need a refund, that goes through Apple too.
